Colombian Flower Exports for Valentine’s Day 2024

During January and February 2024, Colombia exported 59,000 tons of cut flowers, marking a 13% growth compared to the same period last year. Around 92% of these exports were shipped via air from Bogotá’s El Dorado and Rionegro’s José María Córdova airports, while the remaining 8% was transported by sea through various ports in the country. This growth demonstrates the strong international demand for Colombian flowers, particularly during Valentine’s Day.
